G Force Logbook and Scheduling

Help add your airline

The logbook reads your schedule from your airline's crew website. To teach it a new one, we need one example of how yours shows a schedule. Fill in this page, add the files as you go, and press Send at the bottom. You'll need a computer (Windows or Mac) with the Chrome or Edge browser, and about 15 minutes.

Why add your airline

Once your airline syncs, the logbook does the work for you:

Your logbook fills itselfEvery flight from your roster, with block times, night time along the route, takeoffs and landings, and the crew you flew with. In the FAA, Transport Canada or EASA format, ready to print with your signature.
Your schedule on your phoneTrips, layovers and hotels (one tap to call the hotel or get a ride back), the crew on each flight, days off, reserve and training, even offline.
Changes spotted for youWhat changed on your schedule since your last sync, highlighted, so nothing slips by.
Your hours added upFlight time limits and currency, and time away from base for per diem, month by month.

What you'll see, and who sees it

  • You see your own schedule and logbook. Other crew see nothing of yours, unless you turn on sharing with crew at your airline (and you can turn it off at any time).
  • The app only reads your schedule. It never changes or bids on anything in your airline's system; you stay in charge of that.
  • In the phone app, your crew password stays on your phone. Our servers never get it.
  • The more crews send an example, the more kinds of schedules the logbook can read, for you and for everyone who flies with you.
Nothing here asks for your password. You sign in yourself first, and only then save anything. Before anything leaves your computer, this page removes sign-in cookies and codes from your files. What you send shows your own schedule and the names of the crew on your trips. It comes straight to us by email; we use it only to build the reader for your airline, keep it off our servers, and delete it once it works. Send it only if you're comfortable, and if your airline's rules allow it.

1. About you and your airline

You are a
How do you sign in to it?
Does your company use two-step sign-in (2FA)?

An extra step after your password: a code, a tap on your phone, or a key.

Does it have any of these buttons?

2. Four screenshots

Of: the sign-in page, your month, one trip opened with its details (crew, hotel), and one day off.

  • Windows: press Windows + Shift + S, then drag over the screen. Come back to this page and press Ctrl + V: the screenshot is added for you.
  • Mac: press Cmd + Shift + 4, then drag. The picture lands on your Desktop; add it with the button below.

3. The schedule page, saved

With one trip's details open on screen, press Ctrl + S (Mac: Cmd + S). Under "Save as type" (Mac: "Format") choose Webpage, Complete, pick the Desktop, and click Save. You get a file and a folder with the same name: add just the file (it ends in .html).

4. The recording most useful

This records what the website sends your browser when it shows your schedule. It's the part we need most, and it looks more technical than it is: follow the pictures.

Open your schedule

Sign in as usual and open your month.

Open the recorder

Right-click anywhere on your schedule and choose Inspect. (Or press F12; on a laptop you may need Fn + F12. On a Mac: Cmd + Option + I.) A panel full of code opens at the side or the bottom. Don't worry about what's in it.

Click "Network", then tick "Preserve log"

If you don't see "Network", click the » arrows at the top of the panel and pick it from the list.

Reload, then click around your schedule

Press F5 (Mac: Cmd + R) to reload the page. Lines start filling the panel: that's the recording. Now, in your schedule: go to next month, open one trip with its details, and open a day off.

Save the recording

Save the file on your Desktop; its name ends in .har. If you're asked to choose, pick the first option ("sanitized"): it leaves out your sign-in.

No arrow? Right-click any line in the panel and choose Save all as HAR. Then close the panel with the X at its top corner (or F12 again).

5. Send

Trouble sending? Email the files to info@gforcelog.com instead, or a link to a shared folder if they're large.

Only have a phone?

This page works on a phone too: fill in section 1, add screenshots from your photos, and the schedule page saved from your phone.

  • iPhone (Safari): tap Share, then Options, choose Web Archive, then Save to Files.
  • Android (Chrome): open the ⋮ menu and tap the download arrow.

Then come back to this page to add them and send.

What happens next

We build the reader and let you know when your airline can sync. Syncs run from the Logbook app on your phone, with your own sign-in. If your airline sends a code to your phone when you sign in, you enter it yourself in the app. Our servers never get your password.
