Terms of use

These terms cover G Force Logbook and Scheduling (the "app": gforcelog.com and the iPhone and Android apps), provided by 1001569350 Ontario Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada ("G Force", "we"). By using the app you agree to them. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Our privacy policy explains how your information is handled.
1. Your account
The app is by invitation, for adults working as flight crew. An account is for one person: don't share your sign-in codes or let others use your session, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can sign out of every device from Settings, and delete your account there too.
2. Your logbook is your record
You are responsible for what you log and for meeting the record-keeping rules of your regulator (Transport Canada, the FAA, EASA or another authority) and your airline. The app helps you keep and print the record; it doesn't certify it, and entries pulled in from your schedule should be checked against what you actually flew. Keep your own exports: the app can produce PDF and CSV copies at any time.
3. Your airline's crew portal
Connecting your roster uses your own crew credentials, at your choice, and you are responsible for following your airline's policies on that. The app only reads your roster: it never bids or changes anything on your behalf, and it presses Confirm on a schedule change only when you ask it to, in two steps. If your airline's portal changes or stops the sync, the app will say so rather than guess.
4. Crew tips, sharing and contacts
Keep tips useful, accurate and respectful; don't post private information about other people. We may edit or remove a tip. Schedules and contact details are shared only when the person concerned turns sharing on, and only with crew at the same airline; use what you see for crew coordination, nothing else. Contact details you add about others stay private to you.
5. Fair use
Don't probe, overload or attack the service, try to reach other people's data, resell access, or use the app for anything unlawful. Security researchers are welcome to report findings to us by email.

7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the app available and backed up, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control, and features may change or be retired. The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of the app, including losses that come from relying on schedule data or on a logbook that was not checked. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending an account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if the service is discontinued, in which case you will be given a chance to export your logbook first.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the new version is posted here with a new effective date, and changes that matter are announced inside the app. Using the app after a change means you accept it.
